CODA-accredited specialty residency only. AEGD and GPR are explicitly NOT eligible for any Oklahoma license.
OBOD (May 2026) verbatim list of accepted specialties: "dental public health (teaching specialty), endodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, oral and maxillofacial radiology, orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, prosthodontics, oral and maxillofacial pathology, dental anesthesiology, oral medicine, and orofacial pain." Board confirmed AEGD/GPR (1 or 2 yrs) = Not Eligible. Application form is currently being finalized; HB3934 introduces a separate hygienist pathway for foreign-trained dentists.
