What training qualifies: Per WAC 246-817-160, a graduate of a non-accredited school must complete at least 2 additional predoctoral or postdoctoral academic years of dental education; education completed after July 1, 2018 must be in a CODA-accredited US/Canadian program and include clinical training. A single 1-year AEGD/GPR is NOT sufficient — two years are required.
Exams: National Boards Parts I & II (or INBDE) + EITHER an approved practical/clinical exam (WREB/CDCA/SRTA/CITA/ADEX/DLOSCE) under WAC 246-817-120 OR a qualifying residency program under RCW 18.32.040(3)(c)
